How do I choose the right college or university?
Selecting the right college or university is one of the
big decisions that international students who decide to
study in Canada must make. To make this decision easier, you
can ask yourself these questions:
Course of
Study: What do I want to study? What is my program
of choice?
Type of Degree: What is
the right college or university for the level I’m interested
in? Bachelor’s master’s or Ph.D.?
City/Province: Do I prefer to be in a certain
location because of family or other personal reasons?
Language of choice: What is my
preferred language? English, French or both?
Fees and costs: How much are the tuition fees? Does
the school offer any grants or scholarships?
Special Needs Accommodations: Do I need any special
physical or learning disability accommodations that the
college or university must provide?
